I have argued before that when it comes to femininity and masculinity one is not better than the other. They oppose each other as well as that they complement each other.
Therefore, being averse to the feminine doesn’t really make sense. When you come from a place of hate, you cannot accept what is.
Aside from this I do observe that many modern women have embraced and developed the masculine side within themselves under the guise of feminism. Instead of respecting and celebrating their feminine qualities they try to become men.
Feminine qualities are looked down upon often by men and women because they are seen as weak, boring and even as a form of oppression. But the twenty-second chapter of the Tao Te Ching points out the strengths of the feminine aspect of life, which could be summarized as the strength of receptiveness. I will talk about a few dimension of feminine strength.
